In response to Cyclone Gabrielle, the Government has approved the Enhanced Taskforce Green (ETFG) work programme to help with clean-up and recovery across the rural communities in Hawke’s Bay.
Three teams, each consisting of 12 workers and a supervisor have been stood up in the region. These teams are available to support manual tasks directly associated with the clean-up on impacted horticultural, agricultural and community properties. Impacted entities who meet the criteria for support are entitled to an initial allocation of one team for up-to 3 days.
